Heartland Dental deals with cyber attack.

The nation’s largest DSO is dealing with a hacker who gained access to critical data in Heartland’s IT systems.

Specifically, the data includes information contained in three of their databases. These databases were:

Some of the hacked data contained names, addresses, phone numbers, and in some cases, social security numbers.

Heartland has yet to receive any complaints , but is providing free identity theft protection to anyone who was affected by this breach.
