Gryphon Investors Rekindle Partnership with Bilt & Schmidt to Form New DSO

Steven Bilt, former CEO of Smile Brands and Bradley Schmidt, former CFO of Smile Brands have partnered up again with middle-market San Francisco based private equity firm Gryphon Investors to form a new dental support organization called OneSmile .

Gryphon had assisted in funding Smile Brands before selling a majority of their shares in 2005.

The initial strategic plan is to build OneSmile via affiliation with a focus on the Western United States.

Steve Bilt is now the CEO of the newly formed OneSmile while Brad Schmidt will become the CFO of OneSmile.
