Heartland Dental, the nation’s largest dental support organization, recently welcomed nearly 150 of its newest incoming supported dentists to its Effingham, Ill. headquarters for the 2018 Dr. LEADS event. Dr. LEADS, which stands for Learning Elements for Achieving Dental Success, indoctrinates newly supported dentists from around the country. The vast majority of these dentists are recent dental school graduates.
This three-day event offered learning experiences on a wide variety of clinical and leadership topics, networking, and an opportunity to tour the Effingham headquarters. For example, during the first day of the event, the newly supported doctors heard from Heartland Dental leadership, met with suppliers, and experienced a family style lunch catered by the Firefly Grill. In the evening, they networked with other supported doctors from their region.
