Guardian Dentistry Partners welcomes Leslie Haas Brewer as their new VP of Marketing. Leslie is a seasoned senior healthcare marketing leader. She has spent her career building brands, driving awareness and increasing customer loyalty through innovative marketing and communications strategies at Familia Dental, Biolife Plasma Services, and Cancer Treatment Center of America.

MAX Surgical Specialty Management welcomes Dr. Akeyla Brown as their Clinical Director for Diversity Equity Inclusion (DEI) & Community Engagement. Dr. Brown is a Board Certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon, she earned her dental degree at Howard University College of Dentistry, graduating with honors, and was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honor Society. She then went on to pursue Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Howard University Hospital, with surgical experience from Georgetown University Hospital, Veterans Affairs Hospital, Washington Hospital Center, Children’s National Medical Center, Anne Arundel Medical Center, and Winchester Hospital Center in Virginia. In her new role, Dr. Brown will lead MAX Surgical Specialty Management’s efforts to promote diversity and inclusivity within their organization and the broader community.

Philip K. Weber has joined Sonrava Health as Vice President of Talent Acquisition. Philip comes to Sonrava Health with more than a decade of experience leading talent acquisition teams. Most recently he was Director of Talent Acquisition for U.S. Anesthesia Partners, a leading provider of anesthesia services with 700 inpatient and outpatient locations across the country, where he started as Clinical Recruitment Manager in 2019. Before that he was Director of Recruiting and Operations for Merritt Hawkins, an AMN Healthcare affiliate, where he began his talent acquisition career as Physician Recruiter.

Ryan Hodges joins Elevate Dental Partners as their Vice President of Finance. He comes to Elevate with experience in asset management and investment banking, having advised on over $17bn of public and private corporate M&A. Prior to Elevate, he worked at J.P. Morgan in the Energy Investment Banking group where he provided advisory and capital market solution to corporations ranging in size from startups to fortune 500 companies.

Christy Spilka joins Smile Brands Inc as VP, Head of Talent Aquisition. Prior to joining the large group, Christy held executive level talent acquisition positions at iCIMS, Acoustic, nThrive, Precyse, All Medical Personnel, and Gateway Technical Services.

Imagen Dental Partners announced the appointment of Josh Davis as its new Chief Development Officer. Josh has an extensive two-decade background in multi-site healthcare and significant experience in dental leadership. Prior to joining Imagen Dental Partners, Josh was Chief Development Officer at Specialty Dental Brands. He also worked for Kids Care Dental & Orthodontics as the Chief Growth Officer.

Edward (Ed) Heckes joins Australia-based Impression Dental Group as their new Chief Marketing Officer. Ed has a wealth of experience, having previously served as the Head of Growth at Genesis Capital, where he single-handedly established and enhanced the marketing functions of six portfolio companies. Prior to that, Ed showcased his creative prowess at advertising giants Leo Burnett and DDB, earning recognition as one of the top creatives globally. His diverse career also includes roles in a fast-growing FMCG startup, a consultancy position, and as the Global Head of Marketing for a MedTech group, as well as the Marketing Director for an ASX-listed healthcare data entity. His academic background is equally impressive, holding a Double Bachelor of Business and Arts from Monash University.

Theresa Neuhauser joins InterDent Service Corporation as their Vice President, Payor Relations & Strategic Initiatives. InterDent is a dental service organization with over 150 affiliated dental offices. Prior to joining the group, Theresa head up Overjet’s business development team. She previously worked for InterDent as their VP of Supply Chain. Theresa has also spent time in account management at Dentsply Sirona.

Todd R. Cruse joins Spark Dental Management as their new CEO. Prior to joining the group, he was president at DentaQuest. He has also worked in public affairs and government relations at DentaQuest. Spark Dental Management is a regional pediatric DSO with 70+ locations across seven states.

Graham Rosenberg, CEO and Founder of dentalcorp, named EY Entrepreneur of the Year® 2023 Ontario. Graham was recognized as the region’s overall winner, among 11 other award winners at a celebration hosted in Toronto. Graham is dedicated to creating inclusive oral care access for all populations in Canada through dentalcorp’s multi-year philanthropic commitment in support of pediatric dentistry at children’s hospitals.

Dr. Bob Clark of OMS360 has been announced as the Vice President of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (AAOMS). Dr Clark, of Lexington, Ky., served as AAOMS treasurer for four years and District III Trustee for four years. He is a past President of the Kentucky Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and a Diplomate and examiner for ABOMS. Dr. Clark is a founding partner and board member of OMS360 in Cumming, Ga., and a partner with the Kentucky Center for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in Lexington.

Rebecca Aguilar joins Nashville-based Specialty Dental Brands as their new Director of RCM, Orthodontics. Prior to joining the group, Rebecca was a regional supervisor of RCM at Imagen Dental Partners. She has also held RCM management positions at a dental office. She started her dental career at Pacific Dental Services as a specialty benefits coordinator.
