Here is August’s DSO People list:

Eric Tobler, DMD, joins Dental Care Alliance as their new Chief Clinical Officer. The highly regarded provider and leader also sits on the Editorial Board at Group Dentistry Now. With two decades of clinical experience, he most recently served as National Director of Clinical Affairs for Mortenson Dental Partners and Regional President of Stonehaven Dental. With a passion for giving back, Dr. Tobler has volunteered on dental humanitarian trips to Haiti, the Dominican Republic, and Mexico.


Cherie Score joins Elite Dental Partners as their new Director of Hygiene. She has held hygiene support positions at Nuvia, The Aspen Group (TAG) and ADMI. Elite is headquartered in Chicago, Illinois, and was founded in 2014.


Joelle Duroseau has been promoted to Vice President, Business Development at Allied OMS. Joelle played an instrumental role in their growth since he joined Allied as a Business Development Associate in 2022. Over the last two years, he has supported the team with financial analysis, due diligence, and architecting our data warehouse, and he now helps lead our origination and financial analysis efforts that lead to successful doctor partnerships.


Lynn Robbins joins Guardian Dentistry Partners as new VP of Accounting. She is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with more than 7 years of public accounting experience. Lynn’s most recent accounting roles were at Hero Practice Services, American Vision Partners, and (CLA) CliftonLarsonAllen.


U.S. Oral Surgery Management Recognized by Dallas Business Journal as one of the Region’s Fastest Growing Companies. The Dallas Business Journal has named U.S. Oral Surgery Management (USOSM) to this year’s Fast 50 – a list of the 50 fastest growing companies in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Headquartered in Irving, Texas, USOSM is a management services organization spanning 27 states, with a best-in-class network of premier oral and maxillofacial surgeon partners. Each year, nominations are gathered from all over North Texas, and only the top 50 companies are recognized. To qualify, companies must have at least $10 million in annual revenue and be able to show significant net revenue growth over the past three years. The Dallas Business Journal is part of the American City Business Journals family, the largest publisher of metropolitan business news weeklies in the United States.
 
Two USOSM Partner Practices Receive AAAHC Accreditation. The Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC) has accredited two USOSM partner practices. They are Southwest Virginia Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery of Roanoke, Virginia, led by board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon Samuel E. Scroggins, DMD, and Esmail Oral, Facial, and Dental Implant Surgery of Bellingham, Washington, led by board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon Nadeem Esmail, DDS, MD. The AAAHC has accredited more than 6,700 organizations since being founded in 1979, and only a fraction of those have been oral and maxillofacial surgery practices. To receive accreditation, organizations must meet the AAAHC’s nationally recognized standards of quality.

MAX Surgical Specialty Management welcomed Brian Lawson as the new Senior Vice President of Business Development. Brian brings over 15 years of experience in strategy, growth, and M&A within the healthcare sector to MAX. Prior to joining MAX, Brian served as Chief Development Officer at SALT Dental Collective, a multi-specialty dental services organization. During his time at SALT, Brian led the firm’s efforts to identify, source, and execute new practice partnerships within the pediatric dental, orthodontic, and oral surgery sectors and oversaw the growth of the company from 18 locations in two states to over 100 locations in ten states during his tenure.


Dean Prevost joined Corus Orthodontists and their new CEO. This leadership transition comes one month ahead of Corus’ 5-year milestone.

Dean brings over 30 years of experience to Corus, with an impressive track record in leadership roles across diverse industries, including Telecom/Technology/IT, Agriculture, and Strategy Consulting. Most recently, he served as President of the Business and Consumer divisions at Rogers Communications, where he successfully led one of Canada’s largest mergers, Rogers & Shaw in 2023.

Prior to Rogers, Dean served as CEO of Hi-Pro, a North American animal nutrition provider, and held various senior roles at Allstream (formerly AT&T Canada) including President, Chief Marketing Officer, Chief Corporate Officer, Chief Strategy Officer, and President of IT Services.


The Aspen Group (TAG) has appointed Lauren Svoboda as Vice President, Learning Optimization. As VP, Learning Optimization, Lauren will report to SVP, Learning and Development, Chrissie Leibman, to evolve, build, reimagine and ultimately scale robust solutions across the organization. Lauren will focus on bringing a multitude of learning solutions and experiences across all of TAG’s brands. Prior to joining TAG, Lauren served as Head of Learning Transformation at Google.

TAG also celebrated the one-year anniversary of The Aspen Group University (TAG University or TAG U), a learning and development program designed to elevate the skills and careers of the thousands of professionals within The Aspen Group’s network. Located in Chicago’s dynamic Fulton Market District, TAG University supports the growth of clinicians, business operations, and support teams across TAG’s five consumer healthcare brands, including Aspen Dental®, ClearChoice Dental Implant Centers®, WellNow Urgent Care®, Chapter Aesthetic Studio℠ and AZPetVet.

David Wickes joined Aspen Dental Management, Inc. (ADMI) as the VP, FP&A (Field Finance.) David has been with ADMI for over 20 years. Prior to ADMI, he worked for Aspen Dental for nearly a decade.


Gen4 Dental Partners announced two new VPs of Operations and new COO:

  • Brendan Pool was promoted to VP of Operations for the East Coast
  • Barb Kendall became their new VP of Operations for the West Coast
  • Karen Flug has joined as their new Chief Operating Officer

Oral Surgery Partners, an oral surgery management group, announced the appointment of Sohail Malad as its new Chief Executive Officer. Sohail Malad, a seasoned healthcare executive with a proven track record of leadership and innovation, will succeed John Cline, who served as CEO for the past three years and will continue to remain involved in an advisory capacity. OSP is headquartered in St. Louis, MO and supporting over 100 oral surgeons in more than 70 offices in more than 20 states


Dental365 announced the promotions of three women who have played an important role in building offices, transitioning, and integrating acquisitions.

  • Jessica Colón – promoted to Chief of Staff
  • Marissa Thompson- promoted to SVP of Operations
  • Noel Komatz- promoted to SVP of Operations

The DSO also celebrated ‘A Decade of Dentistry.’ Over the past decade they have grown from a single practice to 136 locations, with more locations being added monthly. Founded by Dr. Scott Asnis, Dental365 was officially born in 2014 and quickly grew. In 2017 they made the prestigious Group Dentistry Now Emerging Groups to Watch list. Dental365 rebranded their specialty division as Leading Edge Specialized Dentistry in 2023. This group now includes Leading Edge Oral Surgery, Leading Edge Endodontics, and Leading Edge Periodontics and Dental Implants. They have provided free dental care to over 1,000 veterans.


OMS360 has appointed Joshua Everts, DDS, MD, an oral and maxillofacial surgeon as the organization’s first Chief Clinical Officer. In this new role, Dr. Everts will lead collaboration between surgeons, continue education, and be a mentor.


Charo Earle announced that she has been promoted to Chief Operating Officer at Brush Rinse Floss, LLC. She was formally a Director of Production & Hygiene for Brush Rinse Floss. She was also VP for National Network of Healthcare Hygienists.


Signature Dental Partners has appointed Sarah Wright as the new Director of Doctor Recruiting. In this role, Wright will be planning, developing, directing strategic physician recruitment and physician employment programs. She has experience working as a Senior Recruiting Manager and a Professional Recruiter and Doctor Recruiter at Dentive for over two years.


Kim Diamond has announced that she is starting a new position as the Chief Customer Officer at Kleer Membersy. She has been with Kleer Membersy for over a year as the Executive Vice President of customer success. Before that, was Vice President of MultiSite Sales and Customer Delivery for Henry Schein for over seven years.


Allison Degner has announced her new role as Director of RCM at Stanbrick Dental Services. In this role, Degner will be collaborating with various teams to ensure accurate and timely revenue collection while maintaining focus on customer service while enhancing overall financial performance.


Wendy McCarty has been promoted to the position of Chief Operations Officer of Mortenson Dental Partners. In her role as COO, Wendy will lead MDP’s business operations strategy and execution as part of MDP’s executive leadership team, reporting directly to CEO Bill Becknell. She will continue to partner with Dr. Britt Bostick, Chief Dental Officer, to support the clinical operations of MDP’s affiliated practices. Wendy was previously MDP’s vice president of operations. Prior to joining MDP in 2020, Wendy had a successful 25-year career with The Kroger Company and served in many capacities, the most recent being vice president of operations for the Louisville division.


Dr. Shreyas Oza has become a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics. The University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry Department of Endodontics and his team at Endodontic Associates of Arlington team has supported and guided Dr. Oza throughout his journey.


Ivan Velazquez, MBA, has shared that he is starting a new position as Senior Vice President of Oral Surgery at Specialty Dental Brands. He previously worked for Specialty Dental Brands as a Vice President of Operations and for DaVita Kidney Care as a Regional Operations Director.


A&U Dental has announced the promotion of Christine Battison from Group Clinical Manager to Clinical Director.  Battison worked as a Dental Mentor for Dental Mentors UK and as a Clinical Director for mydentist (UK) for 5 years.


Mike Wright has started a new position as Director of Business Development & Procurement at Vision Dental Partners. A director of business development & Procurement at Vision Dental Partners is a senior-level role that oversees the sourcing, purchasing, and delivery of products and services for an organization.


Josh Muir started a new position as Vice President of Strategy and Operations at Oak Dental Partnership. Muir previously worked at RecallMax for seven years as a Director of Strategic Partnerships and Director of Business Development.


Impression Dental Group welcomed two new executives:

  • Lillian Croft joins the Australian dental group as Head of Partnerships and Acquisitions. Lillian has experience in M&A across various sectors, having worked in the Global Industrials Coverage team at UBS, and held corporate development roles at Healius and Woolworths.
  • Adam Mancini joins as Marketing Associate. Adam’s career highlights include managing end-to-end marketing and segmenting campaigns for well-known automotive brands, education and event consulting industries and online and social fashion campaigning.

InterDent Service Corporation welcomed Kevin Beck aboard as their new Vice President of Real Estate. Kevin has nearly 30 years of experience managing national real estate growth programs and commercial real estate portfolios in the dental, technology, and professional sectors.


Chris Zacharewicz has started a new position as President at Oak Dental Partners. Zacharewicz previously worked at Pacific Dental Services for nine years as a Partner and President.


Jeff Harmon has started a new position as Director of Transitions & Finance at Dental Cooperative. Prior to joining the Dental Cooperative, Jeff held various executive and field sales leadership roles with Henry Schein Dental. Jeff has 25 years of experience in the dental industry, having built, led, and mentored teams that have collectively generated over $1 billion in dental technology, equipment, merchandise and transition sales.


Amy Simmons became Corporate Controller at Enable Dental. Prior to joining Enable, she spent over eight years in various accounting roles at ClearChoice Dental Implant Centers. Enable Dental has developed a proprietary portable dental solution model to serve in-need populations including geriatric, special needs, and people who are better served in alternative settings. On-premise solutions are delivered at independent living, assisted living, nursing homes, substance abuse centers, universities, group homes, healthcare institutions, hospitals, and personal residences.


Leanne Wypych was promoted to Vice President of Doctor Development at Great Lakes Dental Partners. She was previous VP of Operations. Great Lakes is headquartered in Chicago and was founded in 2008.


Cathy Delios has started a new role as a Clinical Development Manager at 123 Dentist. Delios has worked for 123 Dentist for the past year and nine months as Regional Dental Technology Trainer and worked as a Dental Hygienist for dentalcorp for over 18 years.
