Dental Support Organization Wins Entrepreneur Award

​​​​​SMU’s Cox School’s Caruth Institute for Entrepreneurship has recognized DECA Dental Group as the 21st fastest-growing privately held company in the Dallas area at the 26th Annual SMU Cox Dallas 100 Awards held at the Omni Dallas hotel. The Dallas 100 Entrepreneur Award recognizes and encourages entrepreneurs who contribute to the economic growth of their region with their vision and hard work. The Caruth Institute ranks the top 100 Dallas entrepreneurial companies based entirely on increased growth in sales, giving weight to percentage of growth and absolute dollar growth over the previous three years. To be considered for the award, a company must be an independent, privately held corporation, proprietorship or partnership (not a subsidiary of a parent company) with sales between $500,000 to $78,000,000. Based on that criteria; a computer tabulates the results and ranks the companies from 1 to 100. Unlike many competitions, the Dallas 100 doesn’t use judges, testimonies or other subjective judging methods.

DECA Dental is a Dental Service Organization located in Dallas, Texas with 60 offices located throughout Texas, including Ideal Dental and other affiliated brands. In 2016, DECA launched 25 new practices throughout Texas including Austin, Dallas-Fort Worth, San Antonio and Houston. Most of the new offices opened up under their flagship brand, Ideal Dental. DECA says that they will continue its growth in 2017.
