The American Academy of Dental Group Practice (AADGP) was founded in 1974 based on the belief that the individuals who organize and develop group practices are innovators in the world of dentistry. Recognized as the premier resource for doctor-owned doctor-driven practices, AADGP has been bringing together a community of dental professionals for over 50 years at their annual event. AADGP immediate past president and West 10th Dental Group founder, Dr. Brent Barta, recently said on the Group Dentistry Now podcast, “I was a very small one office group practice with a couple dentists and besides for the day-to-day needs I knew I had, I didn’t have any resources to go to that next level. It was the AADGP that helped me through all those various plateaus.”
This captures the heart of the AADGP and the organization’s desire to help dentists take the next step of growth, no matter the current size of the practice. This year, AADGP will again bring together the industry’s best for exclusive opportunities to network and learn. While the principles of the organization remain the same, this year, the event has been revamped to feature a workshop style format with topics ranging from revenue cycle and the impact on patient experience and retention, to AI-powered dentistry, to partner and associate equity structures.
