Dental Group Practice Accredited by AAAHC Opens 20th Office

University Dental Associates, a dental group practice, recently opened its 20th location.  The newest practice is located in Weston, Morrisville, NC and is headed up by Dr. Tanya Rajdev.

UDA is nationally recognized for quality, having maintained accreditation through the Accreditation Association of Ambulatory Health Care.  This accreditation is an external, independent review of a health care delivery organization against nationally-accepted standards and its own policies, procedures, processes and outcomes. In other words: Is the organization delivering safe, high-quality patient care in the way that it says it will?

AAAHC accreditation means that the organization participates in on-going self evaluation, peer review and education to continuously improve its care and services. The organization also commits to a thorough, on-site survey by AAAHC surveyors, who are themselves health care professionals, at least every three years.

The AAAHC is a peer-based, not-for-profit organization that is nationally recognized for conducting extensive evaluations of ambulatory health care organizations to ensure the highest quality standards. Health care organizations undergo a voluntary process to measure the quality of their services and performance against nationally recognized standards.
