TUSK Practice Sales advised O-G Family & General Dentistry in its sale to MB2 Dental. The transaction was led by Josh Swearingen, Director of M&A. Alex Cherniavsky and Tyler Gross spearheaded the diligence and analytics efforts for TUSK. Under the leadership of Dr. Anthony A. Nigro, O-G Family & General Dentistry has served Putnam County, Ohio for over 20 years. Since its founding, MB2 Dental has partnered with more than 750 general and specialty dental practices across 45 states. The Company has undergone three recapitalization events, most recently partnering with private equity firm Warburg Pincus in 2024.
Following more than a year of recruiting and vetting dentist partners, business strategy and design, financial underwriting, and raising capital, Rising Tide Dental Partners, supported by Aligned Dental, has officially launched a new dental partnership organization (DPO), Rising Tide, bringing together 17 founding dentists and 27 practices across 11 states under a shared vision of integrity, innovation, and long-term legacy building. MB2 Dental introduced six new practices and welcomed seven doctor partners across four states. The company also reached another milestone, entering its 45th state, Hawaii.

- Syosset Dental in Syosset, NY, Acquisition
- Dr. Waite & Associates in St. Louis, MO, Acquisition
- Randolph & Associates Family Dentistry in Bloomington, IL, Acquisition
Carolinas Center for Oral & Facial Surgery has expanded its presence in North Carolina with a new location in Raleigh. The practice now operates 23 offices across North and South Carolina.
The Raleigh facility is equipped with two accredited operating rooms, allowing patients to receive pre-operative care, surgery, and post-operative follow-ups in one convenient location.
Smile Partners announced recapitalization through new continuation fund led by commitments from funds managed by BlackRock and Hollyport Capital. The Silver Oak General Partnership reinvested the entirety of its capital investment and proceeds realized from the transaction and committed additional new capital given its continued conviction in Smile Partners.
Since Silver Oak first invested in 2017, Smile Partners has completed 75+ affiliations and expanded to four new states, partnered with 80+ doctor owners while maintaining strong doctor retention, and invested in a diverse set of organic growth initiatives to better serve patients and drive same-store-sales growth. This transaction affirms the Company’s sustained success and doctor-centric partnership model.
Sarasota-based dental service organization, Parkview Dental Partners, has acquired two dental practices in the region: Lifetime Smiles Dental Care’s offices in Sarasota and St. Petersburg. Both Lifetime Smiles Dental Care practices will continue to operate under the Lifetime Smiles Dental Care brand. Parkview Dental Partners is led by CEO Rene Sauerteig.
Williamsburg Dental partnered with Cordental Group. Williamsburg Dental is a provider of aesthetic and general dentistry services, located in Broomall, Pennsylvania. The company’s four dentists operate from a 14-operatory facility.
Straine Dental Management (SDM), in partnership with Arkansas dentist Scott Jolly, DDS, announced the acquisition of a new dental practice in Benton, Arkansas. This strategic move marks a significant expansion of the successful partnership between SDM and Dr. Jolly, following the successful integration of Jolly Family Dental into the SDM network.
PDS Health added six new dental practices in February. The integrated healthcare support organization added a total of 63 practices in 2024, demonstrating steady growth and continued expansion. PDS Health now supports more than 1,000 offices in 24 states.

- Dentists of Hialeah in Hialeah. Florida.
- Union City Modern Dentistry in Union City, California.
- Culver City Smiles Dentistry in Culver City, California.
- Harper’s Dental Group in Cincinnati, Ohio.
- MidTown Reno Smiles Dentistry in Reno, Nevada.
Pan-Am Dental has acquired JB Dental Lab and Avaneer Dental Studio. With these acquisitions, Pan-Am is now estimated to be one of the 10 largest dental lab groups in the U.S. JB, headquartered in Tempe, AZ, and with an additional location in Tucson, AZ, provides complex digital design and full arch implant cases. The acquisitions of JB and Avaneer mark the Company’s third and fourth acquisitions since Caymus Equity’s majority investment of Pan-Am in December 2019.
Aligner Experts announced the opening of three new locations in Chicago, IL, marking their entrance into the market. Their clinics are located in Old Town, Lakeview, and West Loop.
Heartland Dental announced newly supported practices:
- Jacobson Dental Group, Walled Lake, MI, led by Dr. Stephen Jacobson – acquisition
- Dental Care at Sea Plum, Jupiter, FL, led by Dr. Cynthia Corletto and Dr. Roshni Patel – de novo
- Premier Dental Care, Boynton Beach, FL, and 8 to 8 Family Dental Care, Lake Worth, FL. Both locations are led by Dr. David Green – acquisition
ProSmile announced the completion of its acquisition of Neptune Dental Care, located in Neptune, New Jersey. This acquisition further strengthens ProSmile’s growing presence in New Jersey and complements the company’s rapidly expanding portfolio of dental practices.
U.S. Oral Surgery Management (USOSM) announced new partnerships with three oral and maxillofacial surgery (OMS) practices – two in California and one in Pennsylvania. They are Beaudry Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery of Camp Hill, PA; Kern Oral & Facial Surgery & Rejuvenating Beauty of Bakersfield, CA; and Rancho Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery of Murrieta and Hemet, CA. Headquartered in Irving, Texas, USOSM sets the standard for oral and maxillofacial surgery management. A management services organization spanning 28 states
NY-based DSO, Dental365, acquired another practice in the heart of Pennsylvania, Lawrence Dental Group in Kingston, PA. Dental365 is a full-service dental group offering general dentistry and specialty services with locations throughout New York, Connecticut, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island and is led by Dr. Scott Asnis, CEO.
Newly launched Reveal Dental Partners announced a strategic partnership with Engel Institute and Engel Dental Center. The partnership also includes Engel Aesthetics, an integrated lab solution designed to optimize surgical precision and prosthetic excellence. Additionally, Dr. Todd Engel will join Reveal as Director of Clinical Development. The Engel Institute has mentored over 6,800 dentists globally in implantology. Dr. Engel was the first general dentist to perform the full arch dental implant guided surgery procedure with an immediate load restoration. Learn more about Reveal HERE.
Aspen Dental‘s newest locations:
- Harriman, NY office opened on February 11th. The office is led by owner Gabriel Iancu, DDS, and managing clinical director Kevin Kramer, DMD.
- Oviedo, FL office opened on February 27th. The office is led by owner Jere Gillan, DMD, and managing clinical director Peter Rivera, DDS.
ClearChoice Dental Implant Centers announced the opening of the 105th ClearChoice Dental Implant Center, in Honolulu, Hawaii.
Success Orthodontics, which has offices in Mayfield Heights and Twinsburg, Ohio, has expanded to Cleveland, bringing its total number of office locations to three.
Hoffman Dental Care Partners joined Imagen Dental Partners. Founded in 1996, Dr. Michael Hoffman has served the Metro Detroit area for decades.
mydentist (UK) completed a de novo location in Saltergate, Chesterfield, UK. Their new location has 12 operatories and is not only their third new dental practice in the North of England in two months but it also marks a significant moment for mydentist (UK)’s growth strategy as they expand into an area of the UK that previously remained untouched.
A new independent dental practice has been established in Ballymena with the support of Ulster Bank. Slemish Dental Care and Aesthetics has been founded by Tiernan Walsh, Saorlaith O’Callaghan, and Catherine Magennis following the return of the practice to independent ownership after a period under the direction of the Portman Dental Care.
