TUSK Practice Sales advised Montshire Endodontics in its partnership with MB2 Dental. The transaction was led by Yazen Abusad, Associate of Mergers & Acquisitions at TUSK Practice Sales. Alex Cherniavsky and Taylor Adams spearheaded the diligence and analytics efforts for TUSK.  Montshire Endodontics was founded in 2010 as a single location in Lebanon, NH, and later expanded to a second location in Barre, VT. The two-location group practice, led by Dr. Timothy Meyers, Dr. Mikilena Hall, and Dr. Josh Gailey, serves multiple communities in the Northeast.

PDS Health added three new dental practices in August. The Henderson, Nev.-based healthcare support organization has added a total of 31 practices in 2024. PDS Health now supports over 1,000 offices in 24 states.

• Valencia Modern Dentistry in Buckeye adds to the organization’s 104 practices in Arizona.
• The Dental Office of Winchester in Winchester and The Dentists of San Juan Capistrano in San Juan Capistrano add to the company’s 355 practices in California.

MB2 Dental, the original dental partnership organization (DPO), announced its partnership with Dr. Kiran Khemani, owner of Valley View Dental in Castro Valley, California. Dr. Khemani, who has been practicing in the Bay Area for over 20 years, specializes in cosmetic and restorative dentistry, Invisalign treatments, and root canal therapy.

With a network of over 730 practices, 1,500+ doctors, and 10,000 team members, MB2 Dental continues to grow its presence across the country. In 2024, MB2 Dental expanded to 42 states nationwide, adding South Carolina, Vermont, and West Virginia.

MB2 Dental also introduced its latest initiative, the MB2 Underground podcast. This podcast ventures beyond the clinical environment, offering listeners inspiring stories from some of dentistry’s most influential minds. CORDENTAL Group has announced their new affiliation, Smile Solutions in Goodlettsville, Tennessee. This affiliation will be Cordental’s fifth location in Tennessee, fourth location in Nashville, and 44th practice overall.

beBright welcomed Kelson Orthodontics of Meridian, ID. beBright, a pediatric and orthodontic group led by Dr. Bobbi Augustyn, is headquartered in Minnetonka, MN. They currently have a total of 12 locations in MN, MT, NE, TN, and now ID.

Enhance Dental, with 43+ practices across five states, welcomed their newest practice owners:

Dental365 announced the acquisition of Florham Park Dental Excellence in Florham Park, New Jersey. The DSO recently celebrated their 10-year anniversary.

Specialty1 Partners acquired Northeastern Endodontic Specialists, led by partners Dr. Stephen Balzer and Dr. Micah Nuzum. Established in 2011, Northeastern Endodontic Specialists serves the Wooster, Ohio community. The DSO is headquartered in Houston, TX.

Signet Leadership, LLC and its clinical partner, Ladd Dental Group of Huntington, IN, announced the acquisition of Hughes Family Dental. They also held a Chamber of Commerce ribbon cutting to celebrate their newest location. Dr. Kevin Deakyne, DDS, will serve as the local dentist. Ladd Dental Group has a network of dental practices throughout North Central Indiana.

Smile Partners USA announced their newest addition: Bridgemill Dentistry in Canton, GA. This partnership them to 105 total offices across five regions.

Q & M Dental Group (Singapore) reported their first half 2024 earnings:

• Revenue: S$88.8m (up 1.9% from 1H 2023)
• Net income: S$9.80m (up 84% from 1H 2023)
• Profit margin: 11% (up from 6.1% in 1H 2023)
• EPS: S$0.01 (up from S$0.006 in 1H 2023)

UK-based Damira Dental Studios has confirmed that it will be taking over two dental practices, Kingston Crescent Dental and Northern Dental, both of which are based in Portsmouth. This comes following their recent closures as Astradent Dental Group, which was formally running the practices, went into administration. Astradent owned and operated six dental practices across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight including two in Portsmouth and two in Southampton. These four practices all had NHS dental contracts. They also are opening a new NHS and private practice in Hove. This expansion adds 7 amazing practices in Portsmouth, Southampton, and Norfolk.
