The ADSO announces new president

The Association of Dental Support Organizations announced Stephen E. Thorne as the newest president.  Dr. Rich Workman, founder of Heartland Dental and immediate past president of the ADSO, will serve as the VP of Executive Committee.

Stephen E. Thorne, IV, Pacific Dental Services® founder, president and CEO, started in the dental industry in 1989 when his father, a dentist, asked Stephen to manage a struggling dental office.  Stephen was able to turn that struggling dental office into a successful practice.  Eventually Thorne ventured out on his own and founded Pacific Dental Services.  PDS currently provides business and administrative services to nearly 500 supported practices.

Thorne is familiar with the role of president at the ADSO.  He was a founding member of the ADSO and served as the president for the first three years of the ADSO’s existence.

The ADSO also added three new board members to its Executive Committee: STX Healthcare Management, North American Dental Group and Midwest Dental are now represented.
