New Executive Director Joins The Association of Dental Support Organizations (ADSO)

Chris Vranas, Exec. Dir.

The Association of Dental Support Organizations (ADSO) announces and welcomes Chris Vranas as the ADSO’s newly appointed Executive Director. Vranas has an extensive career managing data-driven associations that keep the leadership in a strategic position to maintain relevance in a constantly changing environment. The ADSO looks forward to working with the new leadership, and continuing their efforts to expand access for high quality dental care.

Vranas is a graduate of the The Certified Association Executive program which is designed to elevate professional standards, enhance individual performance, and designate association professionals who demonstrate the knowledge essential to manage an association in today’s challenging environment. He is also a 17 year veteran and served as executive director of the American Association of Orthodontics, an international dental specialty association. The AAO was founded in 1900 and is the world’s oldest and largest dental specialty organization.  It represents more than 18,000 orthodontist members throughout the United States, Canada and abroad.

“I’m truly grateful for the opportunity to lead this great association into the future,” said Chris Vranas. “I am committed to continuing ADSO’s momentum and look forward to working alongside our members to capture the enormous opportunities in front of us.”

“This is an incredible time of growth for the DSO industry. ADSO is fortunate to gain the guidance and experience that Chris brings,” said Michael Bileca, President of ADSO. “We are confident that with the new leadership and support, ADSO will continue to build a future where dentists have the ability to choose the non-clinical support services which best allow them to focus on patients, and ultimately improve the oral health of communities everywhere.”  Bileca is the previous executive director of the ADSO.
