Dr. John Gulon’s Bio:
Dr. Gulon joined Park Dental in 1987, and has served as President and CEO since 2005. Under his leadership, Park Dental has grown by over 50%, with expansion efforts yielding 22 new and acquired practices in less than 5 years. Although Dr. Gulon’s administrative responsibilities have increased, he continues to provide clinical care to patients one day a week. Dr. Gulon is passionate about both the doctor-owned group practice model and oral health as a fixture of overall health, and is a highly regarded speaker on these topics. In addition to his role as President and CEO, Dr. Gulon has also served on the Park Dental Board of Directors since 1999, the Board of Governors for The Dental Specialists since 2005, and he’s been President of and serves on the Board of Directors for The Dental Specialists Orthodontic Group since 2012. Dr. Gulon is a Member and Participant in the American Dental Association, Minnesota Dental Association, Chicago Dental Society, American Academy of Dental Group Practice, ADA Evidence-based Dentistry, ADA Dental Quality Assurance, Dental Practice-Based Research Network, Vistage International, Minnesota Business Partnership, Rural Dental Access Work Group, and Delta Dental’s Dental Access Stakeholder Group.
