Moontower Comedy & Oddity Festival (4/18/18 – 4/21/18) The Paramount Theatre brings some of the funniest, wittiest and oddest world-class comics from around the globe. National headliners, up-and-comers and local Austin-based comedians ensure three hilarious days of fun.
Fusebox Festival (4/18/18 – 4/22/18) Fusebox is a hybrid arts festival that champions adventurous works of art in theater, dance, film, music, literature, visual and culinary arts. The festival takes place over in venues and locations all over the city. Hundreds of local, national and international artists across all disciplines converge for one of the most unique cultural events in the country.
30th Annual Old Settler’s Music Festival (4/19/18 – 4/22/18) in Dale, Tx. Central Texas’ signature music event featuring Grammy-winning Americana, arts and crafts, camping, food and libations. Acoustic jazz, blues and bluegrass are all performed by old-time local favorites and award-winning artists from around the world.
Lady Bird Lake Hike and Bike Trail – downtown walking/jogging/biking along the lake
Zilker Park – great place to relax and enjoy the outdoors near downtown
Lake Austin – rent kayaks/canoes and explore downtown from the water
Congress Ave Bridge / Mexican Free Tailed Bats – gather at dusk to see the bats leave the bridge or at sunrise to see their return
Circuit of the Americas – home of North America’s only F1 race
Lake Travis/The Oasis – located on the west side of Austin – views, boat rentals, restaurants and shopping
Mt. Bonnell Park – scenic overlook about 10 min from downtown
Hill Country Wine Tours – many wineries in the Fredericksburg area (1:30 drive from downtown)
Broken Spoke Saloon – old school honky-tonk with live music
Stubb’s – outdoor concert venue hosting a wide range of acts
ACL Live – live music venue/stage for PBS show Austin City Limits
Antone’s – home of blues
Continental Club – live music venue hosting a wide range of performers

Round Rock Express – Triple A team for the Texas Rangers – home games during ADSO
University of Texas Sports – baseball, softball, tennis and football spring games all taking place during ADSO

Franklin’s BBQ – legendary BBQ – plan to arrive very early, wait in line, and hope they don’t run out!

Texas State Cemetery – final resting place for many notable and legendary Texans
LBJ Presidential Library – History of Lyndon B. Johnson’s presidency
Texas State Capitol – offices and chambers of the Texas Legislature
University of Texas – Austin – main campus of the famed university
