2016 AADGP Review

The American Academy of Dental Group Practice recently held their annual Dental Group Expo in Las Vegas.  The group expo took place at Bally’s Las Vegas Hotel and Casino on February 3rd, 4th and 5th.

Hundreds of dentists and business staff attended the event.  Small groups, solo owner dentists, and executives from DSOs attended.  In addition, over 100 dental exhibitors filled Bally’s convention hall.  According to Dr. Kenneth Sadler, President of the AADGP, this was the largest group of exhibitors the AADGP has ever had.

The expo had an impressive line up of speakers, including the keynote speaker, Dr. Marc Cooper of The Mastery Company.  Dr. Cooper, considered at times polarizing, was well-received by the audience of both small and large groups.  He spoke about the future of the industry, and shared statistics on insurance and patient trends.  He also laid out the business management structure used by many DSOs and MSOs.  View his presentation HERE.
